Remember: your attic is the lungs of your home! Foaming the Eaves, although it works for keeping critters out, only causes further health issues for you down the road. Removing the foam and adding 1/4" interior/or exterior screen will allow air flow while keeping pests out. Also allows the heat, cold air, and moisture to escape keeping your home more comfortable and healthy.

Don't settle for foam and steel wool when the materials to do it right are just as easy to use, look better, and provide permenance. Another thing to keepnin kind, a good exclusion is only as good as the sanitation and clean up. Sanitation not only ensures a healthy home it also eliminates pheromones left by previous rodents.

One of the most over looked entry points for rodents is your attic vents. Although they are typically in constant motion, when they stop it's free unlimited access. Once they're in they can't get back up and out so the begin creating their own way out. Always screen them off using 1/4" hardware cloth. I like to go a few inches passed the cut out to ensure they can't push thru.
